This home is one of 3 Dutch Colonial Revival’s in La Fayette Square designed by architects Montgomery & Nibecker. Restored to its original charm, this home features the trad. gambrel roof, double hung windows, mortise locks on all the interior doors (door knobs, hinges and latches are all oil rubbed bronze), crown moldings and a brick fireplace. The chef’s kitchen was remodeled with Carrera marble counter tops and a Carrera herring bone back splash, a 6 burner Thermador stove, microwave and dishwasher, a stainless steel Bosch refrigerator and farmhouse sink. There are custom made white shaker cabinets and vanities throughout the house and in keeping with the same style, the bathrooms also feature Carrera marble. We made sure to include new HW floors on the 1st floor (the original HW floors were restored on the 2nd story), new plumbing and electrical, new roof, new pool equipment and a prof. landscaped yard.
